During the past 20+ years, our Training Staff have participated in Narcotics Enforcement Operations, Support and Training Services in several regions to include: the United States, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, Mongolia and Afghanistan. Furthermore, before joining Bergeron Group as a Partner and Senior Counter-Narcotics Instructor, Mr. Bob Catinazzo spent 20 years in the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). In addition to his significant involvement with Narcotics Enforcement Operations & Investigations as a Supervisory Special Agent, he served as Unit Chief and Curriculum Developer for the DEA Office of Training, where he directly contributed to the successful accreditation of the DEA Office of Training, by the Federal Law Enforcement Training Accreditation (FLETA) Board. He brings years of experience and expertise to Bergeron Group, and has been instrumental in developing our Narcotics Enforcement Training Programs.

As part of our Narcotics Enforcement Training Services, Bergeron Group currently offers a 3 level Narcotics Investigator Training & Development Program, as well as Tactical Narcotics Enforcement Operations Training (See Tactical Training & Development Page.)

Level 3 Narcotics Investigator Course:

Our Level 3 Narcotics Investigators Course's overall course objective is to build on the advanced investigative tools and techniques learned during Level 1 & 2 Narcotics Investigators Courses.

This course is designed to guide & encourage participants to expand a basic narcotics investigation into a complex conspiracy investigation by looking beyond the arrest of a subject. Participants will be exposed to advanced scenarios and a deeper understanding of previously learned concepts as in the two previous courses.

Participants will utilize the skills learned in each previous course to assist in developing a complex conspiracy investigation. First, participants will conduct searches that will result in the seizure of evidence. The participant will then analyze and use the evidence in the development of link analysis.

This advanced course consists of classroom lectures and field training exercises. As in the Level 1 and Level 2 Courses, Field Training Exercises are designed and utilized to enhance a participant's overall learning experience and gauge their collective ability in all disciplines taught during the classroom portion of the course.

Level 2 Narcotics Investigators Course:

Our Level 2 Narcotics Investigators Course consists of classroom lectures and field training exercises designed to provide specialized & advanced skills in managing Narcotic Enforcement Operations. The overall objective of this course is to provide advanced investigative tools and techniques to law enforcement agencies tasked with disrupting drug trafficking organizations and related crimes against humanity. As in the Level 1 Narcotics Investigators Course, Field Training Exercises are designed and utilized to enhance the participant’s overall learning experience and gauge their collective ability in all disciplines taught during the classroom portion of the course.

Participants MUST have completed the Level 1 Course before attending the Level 2 Narcotics Investigators Course. This course provides participants with advanced scenarios and a deeper understanding of the concepts introduced during the Level 1 Narcotics Investigators Course.

Level 1 Narcotics Investigators Course:

Our Level 1 Narcotics Investigators Course is the introductory course for our program. It is designed to provide entry-level Narcotics Enforcement Personnel (Investigators & others) with specialized & advanced skills in managing Narcotic Enforcement Operations. The overall course objective is to provide essential investigative tools and techniques to Law Enforcement Organizations, and Military & Government Security Forces Personnel tasked with disrupting drug trafficking organizations and related threats against humanity.

This introductory course consists of classroom lectures and field training exercises. The field training exercises are designed to enhance the participant's overall learning experience and gauge their collective ability in all disciplines taught during the classroom portion of the course.
